Tengrinews.kz - Two foreign citizens have received Kazakhstan's modern nomad visa — Neo Nomad, according to the press service of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports.
The visa holders are a resident of South Korea and a citizen of Singapore. Also, as noted by press service, a US citizen is applying for a visa, his application is currently under consideration.
The Neo Nomad Visa opens up opportunities for travelers from around the world. It allows foreign tourists to remain mobile, work remotely in their foreign company and live in Kazakhstan for a year.
The first Neo Nomad visa was issued to a British citizen who works in the energy sector. To obtain a new type of B12-1 visa, foreigners must contact the embassy or consular offices of the Republic of Kazakhstan abroad. To obtain a Neo Nomad visa, a foreign citizen must demonstrate a stable income of at least US $3000 outside of Kazakhstan.
