Tengrinews.kz – Seismologists recorded an earthquake on the border of Kazakhstan and China.

According to operational information from the Kazakhstan Data Center, on November 28 at 10:36 AM Astana time, an earthquake occurred on the border territory of China and Kazakhstan. The magnitude of the tremors was 4.2.

According to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), the epicenter of the earthquake with a magnitude of 4.2 was located 309 kilometers east of Almaty.

Recall that on the night of November 28, another earthquake was recorded in Almaty. The earthquake center was located on the territory of China, 318 kilometers southeast of Almaty.

On November 25, an earthquake was recorded in the Zhetysu region. In Almaty, the earthquake was felt with a magnitude of 2.
