Tengrinews.kz - The Almaty Prosecutor's Office has blocked 16 Telegram channels that were promoting and distributing narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances.
During the inspection, it was discovered that participants were offered not only the opportunity to purchase illegal substances but also jobs as "dealers."
"The court granted the request of the prosecutor of the Medeu district to block these prohibited resources, and their activities have been terminated. To hold the responsible parties accountable, a pre-trial investigation has been initiated under Part 1 of Article 299-1 of the Criminal Code for 'propaganda or illegal advertising of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, or their analogs and precursors'," the Almaty Prosecutor's Office reported.
According to the prosecutor's office, the case has been transferred to the police for further investigation.
Earlier, a transnational criminal group that set up a drug lab in a private house in Kazakhstan was convicted in the Akmola region.
