Tengrinews.kz - Users worldwide reported a major outage affecting WhatsApp, along with disruptions on Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube, according to Downdetector.

Tengrinews.kz - Users worldwide reported a major outage affecting WhatsApp, along with disruptions on Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube, according to Downdetector.

The issues with WhatsApp began around 22:50 Astana time, with most complaints coming from users in Kazakhstan and Russia.

By 23:20, the messenger's functionality began to recover, but the outage had also affected Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube, with users reporting issues globally.

Downdetector later confirmed that thousands of users worldwide faced disruptions across Meta's platforms, including Instagram, Threads, Facebook, and WhatsApp.

According to the outage tracking website, over 50,000 users experienced issues with Facebook, while more than 23,000 users reported problems with Instagram.

The disruptions were noted in the UK, parts of Europe, Asia, Australia, and South America.
