Starting on August 1, 2011, KazakhTelecom internet service provider lowered the monthly pay for Megaline/iD Net Turbo, Turbo Plus, Turbo Light for individuals, Tengrinews.kz reports referring to the company’s press-office.
The monthly pay was dropped from 5845 tenge ($40) to 4600 tenge ($31) whereas the limit for non-Kazakhstan traffic was increased from 20 Gb to 40 Gb (the traffic between Kazakhstan-based resources is limit free).
iD Phone services tariffs for individuals were also lowered. Monthly pay for Megaline Turbo iD Phone tariff plan was lowered by 20%, Smart Phone Turbo/ Turbo Light tariff plan – by 16%.
Megaline Turbo/Turbo Plus/Turbo Light iD Phone tariffs are also expected to be decreased to 4400 tenge ($30) including VAT soon.
Starting from July 1, 2011, KazakhTelecom doubled Internet speed. The speed of the most popular internet package Megaline Hit (Light, Box) was brought to 2 Mbit/sec for external resources and to 4 Mbit/sec for domestic resources.
