Tengrinews.kz - The Laboratory of X-Ray Astronomy has released a forecast of magnetic storms for April, what kind of sun awaits us, and what doctors advise in such situations.
In April of this year, 6 days of initial-level magnetic storms are predicted. According to the forecast of the Laboratory of X-Ray Astronomy of the Sun, geomagnetic disturbances with the G1 level are expected on April 5, 8, 9, 10, 22, and 24.
In addition, increased geomagnetic activity will be observed on 8 days in April. On these days, April 6, 7, 11, 12, 13, 14, 21, and 25, the probability of disturbances in the Earth's magnetosphere will be higher, which can affect atmospheric conditions and cause mild anxiety in weather-sensitive people.
What do doctors recommend during magnetic storms?
Head of the department of the Clinic №36 in Almaty, Karlygash Kaliyeva, in an interview with KTK, recommended that Kazakhstanis devote more time to rest during this period.
"We have electric fields in the body. And due to this, magnetic storms can affect our bodies. That is, these fluctuations of the magnetic field are 1-2 per second, which kind of corresponds to our heartbeat. And naturally, patients who are registered with the dispensary with chronic diseases can feel these magnetic storms. It is necessary to alternate work and rest. That is, here rest should be the most," warned Dr. Kaliyeva.
According to doctors, magnetic storms can primarily affect the well-being of people suffering from chronic heart diseases. Experts note that about 70% of strokes occur during geomagnetic disturbances.
Earlier, specialists from the Laboratory of X-Ray Astronomy of the Sun stated that one of the largest coronal holes on the Sun in recent years will cause powerful magnetic storms.
