British pharmaceutic company to help Kazakhstan fight against drug counterfeit

Minister of Healthcare of Kazakhstan Salidat Kairbekova and Michael Crow, Vice-president and General Manager of GlaxoSmithKline CIS, have signed a Memorandum on Cooperation in Healthcare and Pharmacological Support, Tengrinews.kz reports, citing Kazakhstan Ministry of Healthcare press-office.The parties agreed on direct supplies of medicine that don’t have analogues in Kazakhstan, the press-release reads. GlaxoSmithKline intends to cooperate with Kazakhstan Ministry of Healthcare and to provide assistance in fighting medicine counterfeit. According to the Memorandum GlaxoSmithKline will focus its experience and resources on oncology and vaccination.
