Since the beginning of the year, 3.158 trillion tenge has been paid from the national budget, including 1.022 trillion for the basic pension and 2.136 trillion for the solidary pension.

In mid-October, the Ministry of Labor held an expert council meeting to discuss potential reforms, focusing on:
- The ratio between solidary and accumulative components;
- New methods for calculating the basic pension;
- Adequacy of contribution rates;
- The impact of early withdrawals from the ENPF;
- More effective management of pension assets and inclusion of self-employed citizens in the accumulative system.
