Tengrinews.kz - On Monday evening, new riots erupted in the center of Amsterdam following a ban on mass demonstrations, according to Euronews.

The police have been deployed to the city center and are trying to take control of the situation, with a helicopter involved.

Groups, linked on social media to pro-Palestinian movements, clashed with law enforcement officers. Protesters set fire to a tram. At the time of the fire, there was no one inside the tram. The fire was extinguished. The enraged crowd damaged cars and smashed shop windows.

According to a law enforcement representative, the police are 'dispersing the groups.' There are no reports of injuries. Several people have been arrested, but the exact number is unknown.

Riots and protests have continued in the Dutch capital since they began with riots following a football match between Ajax and Maccabi Tel Aviv on the night of Friday, November 8. Dozens of attackers have been detained.
