The incident occurred in an apartment in the Sat City residential complex. The consequences of the incident was captured on video, which appeared in social media.
The footage shows broken doors and glass, as well as black marks on the walls and ceiling.
According to the press service of the capital’s Department of Emergency Situations, at 12:48 AM on September 25, firefighters were dispatched in response to a report from the residential complex in the Nura area. Upon arrival, it was determined that in the bathroom of the apartment, a clap occurred due to aerosol vapors (air freshener) resulting in a gas-air mixture explosion without subsequent ignition.
As a result of the inspection, an administrative protocol was drawn up for negligent handling of fire and violations of fire safety regulations.
