Violation of safety rules has almost cost life to a truck driver in Almaty. The driver of the ZiL truck slammed on the brakes at one of the crossings in Almaty. As a results of the abrupt stop the loose fittings stocked in the truck’s body continued moving by inertia and smashed through the roof of the truck’s cabin, KTK reports.The 6m-long iron rods tore apart the paneling in a matter of seconds and staved the driver into his seat. Passers-by helped the driver out of the truck. To his luck, the driver received only a small lump on his head.
