One person killed in the fire in Astana mosque

One person has fallen victim of the fire in Astana mosque, Tengrinews.kz reports referring to the Emergencies Ministry press-service. According to the city’s Emergency Department the fire has been brought under control at 5:01 p.m. Firefighting operating still continues.Emergency service received a call about the fire in Khazret Sultan mosque at 3:19 p.m. The fire is class three: the highest complexity. The area in flames made almost 300 square meters.Vladimir Bozhko, Minister of Emergencies Situations personally arrived at the site. He said that welding works are the most likely cause of the fire.
