Investigation of AN-72 plane crash will take one month

The investigation of AN-72 plane crash near Shymkent will last for one month, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the press-service of Kazakhstan Defense Ministry. “The experts are currently decrypting the onboard recorder. The investigation of the plane crash will last for 30 days. All the received data will be summarized and analyzed. The commission’s statement on the crash reasons will be made upon completions of the work. A statement will be made,” the message states. The commission on investigation of the causes of the AN-72 airplane crash near Sairam village of South-Kazakhstan oblast was formed by the Defense Minister. It includes experts of the Defense Ministry and the Ministry of Transport and Communications. The commission is led by head of the Chief Department for Control over Flights Security of Kazakhstan State Aviation of Air Defense Forces Colonel Murat Kazhmuratov. The commission includes 13 experts: 11 experts from Kazakhstan Defense Ministry and 2 experts of Kazakhstan Ministry of Transport and Communications. The commission will follow the Rules of investigation of aviation accidents and incidents approved by Kazakhstan government decree in July 2011 in their work.
