75 TM-57 military anti-tank mines have been discovered during construction of a hydraulic power station in Temirtau city, Tengrinews.kz reports. The constructors were making a trench three meters from the building when they found the mines one meter deep in the ground. "Those are combat mines but with no fuze attached. So the pose no threat to the local residents," the Ministry said. A team of mine engineers was dispatched to the site and made all the necessary works to disarm the mines and remove them from the construction site and to a special military site. The area was cordoned by the military police, Ministry of Emergency Situation staff and officers from the Interior Department of Temirtau town.
