A Nissan Cefiro has exploded in the center of Almaty city, Tengrinews reports. The accident happened on Gogol Street near the crossing with Seifulin Avenue. The car was driven by a young woman. Fortunately, she managed to stop the car and get out right before it exploded. She has been taken to a hospitalized in a state of shock. According to witnesses she did not receive any serious injuries in the explosion. According to Territory of Accidents show of STB TV Channel, the young woman had a gas cylinder in the trunk. A failure of the cylinder is the most likely cause of the explosion, but it was the smell of the gas that saved her life: she smelled the gas and knew that something was wrong, so she immediately stopped the car and got out.
