Several people, including a foreigner, have been injured in a car accident in Almaty, Life24.kz writes. The incident happened on February 13 at around 11:00 p.m. in Timiryazev street. According to witnesses, the accident happened when a young man was crossing the road at the pedestrian crossing. Mahindra Scorpio Petrol stopped to let the pedestrian cross. Range Rover with tinted-glass windows smashed into the Mahindra in high gear from behind making it bolt forward and knocked down the pedestrian. He turned out to be a citizen of Brazil. The smash pushed Mahindra Scorpio Petrol into the opposite lane and turned it around. The pedestrian and the driver of Scorpio Petrol were heavily injured.
