120 people have been evacuated from a fire in an multistory apartment building on the night of January 6 in Astana, Tengrinews reports referring to the Ministry of Emergency Situations. The fire started in Demalys sauna situated in the basement of Nur Otau high-rise apartment building. 120 residents including 15 children were immediately evacuated. The fire was put out within an hour and a half. The fire zone reached 10 square meters. There were no victims or causalities. It was not the first time a fire had started in Astana this year. Earlier on January 3, a fire was reported at a dorm. As a result of that fire two people suffered smoke inhalation and were taken to a hospital.
