Burnt remains of 13 people were discovered at the frontier post in Almaty oblast, Tengrinews.kz citing first deputy director of the Frontier Service of Kazakhstan National Security Commission, head of the General Staff Turganbek Stambekov. “On May 30 the frontier group of Sary Bokter post of Usharal frontier troops of Shygys regional frontier service department discovered a burnt building of Argkankergen frontier post, where 15 frontier officers normally serve. The investigation group supervised by director of the frontier services Major General N. Myrzaliyev is working at the incident site along together with representatives of the Head Military Prosecutor’s office and Kazakhstan Interior Ministry. Burnt remains of 13 people were discovered, including the body of the gamekeeper of the hunting farm located near the post. Frontier service, national security commission and the interior department are performing the investigation and search,” Stambekov said.
