U.S. counted Kazakh students in its Universities

Kazakhstan is the leader among Central Asian countries by the number its students who study in the U.S., Tengrinews.kz reports, citing CA-News. According to American Open doors International Educational Institution, 57.9% students from Kazakhstan are taking bachelor course and 42.1% students are doing their master course in 2011. 1890 Kazakhstan students traveled to the U.S. to study in the academic year 2010-2011. This is 2.4% less than the year before. Business and Management, Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science, Physics and Natural Sciences are the most popular courses among Kazakhstan students. Uzbekistan is at the second place by the number of students with 560 young people studying in the U.S. Kyrgyzstan is the third with 279 students. The total of 3188 people from five Central Asian states are studying in the U.S. this year. According to the U.S. Minister of Trade, foreign students who spend money on their board and lodging bring an income of more than 21 billion dollars to the American economy annually.
