Earthquake struck 130km from Almaty
3.3-magnitude earthquake happened 131km from Almaty, Tengrinews.kz reports.According to the European Seismological Center, the shocks were registered at the territory of Kyrgyzstan around 04:17 a.m. Astana time on March 12.The epicenter was 38km south-east of Balykchi and at the depth of 1km.Another 3.5-magnitude earthquake hit south Kazakhstan on March 10. The shaking was registered at 00:31 a.m. Astana time.The epicenter of the quake was registered at the depth of 4km, 141km west of Almaty and 42km north-east of Georgiyevka village. The quake could be felt in Kyrgyzstan, as the epicenter was 62km north-east of Bishkek and 43km north-est of Tokmak.No casualties have been reported.
