The epicenter of the quake was registered at the depth of 4km, 141km west of Almaty and 42km north-east of Georgiyevka village. The quake could be felt in Kyrgyzstan, as the epicenter was 62km north-east of Bishkek and 43km north-est of Tokmak. No casualties have been reported.
