3.2-magnitude earthquake struck 144km from Almaty

A 3.2-magnitude earthquake struck 144km from Almaty, Tengrinews.kz reports citing European-Mediterranean Seismological Center. The shocks were registered on August 15 at 02:44 a.m. Astana time. The epicenter of the quake was at the depth of 1km at the territory of Kyrgyzstan 98km from Bishkek. No casualties were reported. A 4.1-magnitude struck at the territory of China on August 13. The epicenter of the quake was at the depth of 1km and 323km south of Almaty.
