U.S. Embassy car knocked down and killed a girl in Bishkek

Chevrolet Suburban with the U.S. diplomatic number plates knocked down and killed a 21-year-old girl on the way to Manas airport in Bishkek, Tengrinews.kz reports citing AKIpress. According to the agency, the accident happened in the morning of December 9 at the 16th kilometer of the road in Razdolnoye village. A 21-y.o. citizen of Batken oblast Kanukei Iskanova died in the accident. The car had diplomatic number plates registered to the U.S. Embassy in Kyrgyzstan. According to the preliminary information, a Kyrgyzstan citizen Pavel Mastilenko, born in 1974, was driving the car. Similar case happened in Astana on August 16. Back then the car with U.S. Embassy number plate knocked down a 15-year-old Kazakhstan resident. She was delivered to intensive care unit and died after several days. According to a policemen, the driver was speeding and violated the rules of passing of pedestrian crossings. In the end the driver of the U.S. embassy was only fined and the criminal case against him was closed over conciliation of the parties.
