Volley of automatic gunfire and explosions have been heard in the multi-storey building No.37 at the crossing of Raiymbek and Yassaui streets in Almaty, Tengrinews.kz reports. The territory around the building is cordoned. The operation involves special police forces, policemen, ambulance cars and fire-fighters. Smoke has been issuing from windows for some time. According to witnesses, special forces officers arrived to the building around noon and started evacuating the residents. In some time, at around 01:00 p.m. the shots and several explosions were heard.
