Tengrinews.kz – A scheduled coach operating on the Kyrgyzstan–Russia route collided with a truck in the Karmakshy district of the Kyzylorda region.
The press service of Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Emergency Situations reported this on Wednesday, 28 January.
According to the agency, the accident occurred ten kilometers from the village of Akzhar. There were 47 citizens of Kyrgyzstan on board, including one child.
It is explained that after the accident the bus was unable to continue its journey due to a technical malfunction.
The regional police department’s press service stated that police officers together with Emergency Situations personnel evacuated the passengers and took them to the nearest warming station. There were no casualties.
The agency reminded drivers of the importance of observing traffic rules, not exceeding speed limits, and maintaining a safe distance, which helps to avoid unforeseen situations on the road.
