The official page of the "NeMolchi.kz" on social media reported that a 16-year-old schoolgirl from Kyzylorda fell into sexual slavery. Allegedly, her classmates were involved in this situation.
"The girl had been missing from home since February. Her parents searched for her, but the police did not assist and threatened to take away their parental rights. The girl occasionally contacted them, saying that she was working in various places, but her parents could not locate her. She said that she was forced to make such videos to prevent her parents from raising alarm," the publication states.
It also notes that the schoolgirl was subjected to torture and abuse.
Children's Ombudsman Dinara Zakiyeva stated that a criminal case has been opened regarding this incident. The Committee for children rights protection of the Ministry of Education has commented on the situation, noting that the Commissioner for Children's Rights has visited the injured girl and her family.
"She is receiving psychological and medical assistance. Law enforcement is conducting an investigation, and the case is being monitored by the Committee for children rights protection," the committee stated.
