Transtelecom Chairman meets President of HP Nurali Aliyev met with the President of Hewlettt-Packard Corporation Meg Whitman to discuss cooperation ahead of the EXPO-2017 to take place in Astana, Kazakhstan.

Chairman of the Management Board of Transtelecom JSC Nurali Aliyev met with Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Hewlett-Packard Meg Whitman, Tengrinews reports citing the press service of the Kazakh company.

The meeting happened on December 4 in Astana, as part of the annual international exhibition-conference HP Discover Barcelona 2014 that brought together leading IT professionals, architects and other experts to discuss the latest IT-solutions in the field of cloud services, data storage and security for "smart" networking.

Also present were HP Executive Vice President and General Manager of Enterprise Group Bill Veghte and HP CEO on Central Asia and Eastern Europe Herbert Rastbichler.

The sides came to discuss further development of partnership. HP Corporation expressed interest in creating large IT projects for the development of the telecommunications market in Kazakhstan, as well as in helping introduce innovative technologies within the framework of Astana EXPO-2017.

HP top managers were sure that Transtelecom would be a reliable strategic partner for the successful implementation of these projects.

Nurali Aliyev said that his company was interested in strategic partnership and in working on projects in railway transport and IT-infrastructure of Astana EXPO-2017.
