KEGOC 2010 net profit at $39.7 million

According to the financial statements of Kazakhstan Electricity Grid Operating Company (KEGOC) on the company’s web site, the 2010 net profit made up $ 39.7 million, whereas in 2009 the Company faced a net loss of $ 30.5 million, Kursiv reports. The Company’s assets in 2010 grew by 2.2%, reaching $ 1.2 billion. The Kazakhstan Electricity Grid Operating Company (KEGOC) is a national transmission grid operator of Kazakhstan. It was established according to Government Resolution of 28 September 1996 on 11 July 1997. All shares of KEGOC are held by Samruk Kazyna Sovereign Wealth Fund.
