Kazakhstan bank closed its office in London

Kazkommertsbank closed down its representative offices in Great Britain and Northern Ireland on June 1, 2012. However, the information about the development was unveiled only recently, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the bank’s press-service. According to the press-service, the bank’s representative office in Great Britain was established in 1997 to sustain the official contacts with banks, international financial institutions and authorities in Great Britain and Northern Ireland. The functions of this office are currently performed by other divisions of the bank. The bank’s board took a decision on September 22, 2011 to voluntarily liquidate the offices in Great Britain.
