Tengrinews.kz - The Unified Accumulative Pension Fund (UAPF) has revealed the highest monthly pension payment in Kazakhstan.
According to the fund, the "wealthiest pensioner" in the country now receives 993,040 tenge per month. In January, the maximum monthly pension payment was 945,752 tenge. Meanwhile, the average monthly pension payout from the UAPF upon reaching retirement age stood at 35,523 tenge (compared to 33,906 tenge in January).
As of February 1, 2025, Kazakhstan had 17.24 million pension accounts, the UAPF reported.
"The total pension assets of Kazakh citizens in UAPF accounts amount to approximately 22.64 trillion tenge. Over the past 12 months, pension assets have increased by more than 4.52 trillion tenge (or 25 percent)," the statement said.
Earlier, the press service of the pension fund announced that Kazakhstan will increase its funded pension in 2025.
