Tengrinews.kz - Traffic restrictions will be introduced on a number of highways of national importance due to bad weather conditions, according to QazAvtoJol.
Due to unfavorable weather conditions, it is planned to restrict traffic on the following sections of national roads from November 13, 2024:
Zhambyl region
- From 1 PM, a restriction will be introduced on a section of the A-2 Almaty - Tashkent - Termez highway from 159 to 238 kilometers (from the village of Otar to the village of Kainar) for all types of transport.
- Also, from 1 PM, the movement of freight transport will be restricted on a section of the A-2 highway from 535 to 593 kilometers (from the village Aisha-Bibi to the border of the Turkestan region).
Turkestan region
- For freight transport, the restriction will come into effect from 1 PM on the section of the A-2 highway from 593 to 620 kilometers (from the border of the Zhambyl region to the village Turar Ryskulov).
The road will be opened approximately on November 13, 2024 at 7 PM.
