Tengrinews.kz – Heydar Aliyev International Airport has warned passengers departing from or arriving in the city.

As reported by the airport's official Telegram channel, due to the 29th Conference of the Parties (COP29) being held in Baku and traffic restrictions on the city's central streets and avenues, passengers are advised to use alternative routes and public transport to get to the airport on time and comfortably.

"During COP29, express buses H1 and H2 will operate continuously for passenger convenience. Bus H1 departs every 10 minutes from the '28 May' metro station, and H2 departs every 15 minutes from the 'Ahmedli' metro station. Please note that travel on these buses will be free until November 14," the airport said in a statement.

Given possible traffic restrictions, passengers are advised to arrive at the airport at least 3 hours before departure.
