Tengrinews.kz — Following a tragedy at a dairy farm in the Pavlodar region that claimed six lives, the company’s management has issued a formal statement.
Alexander Terentyev, CEO of Stalmontazh, Aktogai-Agro, and Aqtogai Milk, and a deputy of the Pavlodar regional maslikhat, commented on the tragedy at the dairy farm in the village of Zholaman, which resulted in the deaths of six employees.
"Another victim has been hospitalized at the Aktogai Central District Hospital, where he is receiving all necessary medical care. The management and staff of Aktogai Milk LLP express their deepest and most sincere condolences to the families and loved ones of the deceased," Alexander Terentyev wrote on his social media page.
He also announced that the company would provide all necessary aid and support to the families of the victims.
"Competent state authorities are currently investigating the incident. Aktogai Milk LLP is fully cooperating with the investigation and will ensure that all necessary measures are implemented based on the findings," Terentyev stated.
As previously reported, the tragedy occurred on the grounds of a major local dairy enterprise in the Pavlodar region. According to the regional emergency medical services, the call was received at 12:01 PM on July 20.
"At the scene, paramedics confirmed the deaths of six men born in 1963, 1975, 1983, 1998, 2006, and 2009," the Pavlodar Regional Emergency Medical Service previously informed.
Another victim, a 38-year-old man, is currently being treated at the Aktogai District Hospital.
A pre-trial investigation has been launched into the fatalities. The press service of the regional police department noted that, in accordance with Article 201 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, no further information will be disclosed at this time.
