As part of his state visit program to Mongolia, the President of Kazakhstan visited the Chinggis Khaan National Museum in Ulaanbaatar.
The museum, opened in 2019, houses a collection of over 10,000 original exhibits. The central focus of the exhibition is the figure of the great ruler and conqueror Genghis Khan. It also showcases artifacts that span all periods of the formation of Mongolian statehood, from the Huns period to the 20th century.
One of the museum's main objectives is to research and promote the cultural heritage of the nomadic civilizations of Eurasia.
"The head of state examined the exhibition and left a note in the guestbook. "The Chinggis Khaan National Museum is a chronicle of the history of an outstanding individual and the state he founded. May this center of spirituality serve the good of the people of Mongolia," wrote Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
