Tengrinews.kz - A taxi crashed into a group of pedestrians in a busy area of New York City, injuring at least six people, according to Fox News.
The New York Police Department (NYPD) confirmed to the TV channel that the car hit people in Herald Square.
According to the police, the taxi driver is a 58-year-old man. The cause of the accident has not been reported.
Six victims with various injuries were taken to local hospitals for medical care, the police explained. Authorities specified that a 9-year-old boy was hospitalized with cuts on his leg, a 41-year-old woman with a head injury, and a 49-year-old woman with a leg injury. The remaining victims refused further medical treatment after the accident.

Herald Square is a popular tourist spot, especially during the holiday season, where Broadway, 6th Avenue and West 34th Street.
It is noted that no one has been arrested in connection with the incident, and the causes of the accident are being investigated.
