Law enforcement authorities estimate the black market value of the seized cocaine to be more than seven million euros.
Police and prosecutors believe that this batch of drugs ended up in the supermarket network by mistake. According to the police, a logistical error by the "suppliers" resulted in the cocaine being delivered to the stores.
The investigation into the circumstances of the cocaine smuggling is ongoing.
