Tengrinews.kz – Former U.S. President Joe Biden has been diagnosed with prostate cancer, according to NBC News.

The announcement was released by Biden’s office on Sunday, May 18.

"Last week, President Joe Biden was seen for a new finding of a prostate nodule after experiencing increasing urinary symptoms," the statement said.

It is explained that last Friday he was diagnosed with prostate cancer, characterized by a Gleason score of 9 (Grade Group 5) with bone metastasis.

Although this is a more aggressive form of the disease, the cancer has responded well to hormone therapy, which allows for effective management of the condition, the office noted.

It is reported that Biden and his family are discussing possible treatment options with doctors.
