The video, which appeared in a Facebook group with over 200,000 members, captured a man urinating in the water while other beachgoers continued to swim nearby.

"Swimmers continue to swim while others urinate," read the caption.

The incident sparked outrage online. Users expressed shock that the tourist did not use nearby public restrooms. Comments flooded in with complaints and even videos of similar inappropriate behavior by other tourists.

Pattaya Mayor Poramet Ngampichet, announced that legal action wiould be taken against those responsible. He noted that such behavior violates public hygiene laws and negatively impacts the city's cleanliness and reputation as a tourist destination.

Local vendors, who depend on tourism, also expressed concern. A seller of fried squid stated that he had never encountered such behavior before and emphasized the importance of using public restrooms. The incident occurred late at night and may have been related to alcohol consumption.

Public reactions were mixed: some citizens called for strict punishment for the offenders, while others suggested increasing the number of public restrooms on Pattaya Beach to prevent similar situations in the future.
