Japanese prime minister Shigeru Ishiba fell asleep during the vote for his re-election. Despite the moment of weakness, the parliament again expressed confidence in him and re-elected him as head of government.

Recall that Ishiba won the second round of elections, gaining 221 votes.

Earlier, the entire government of Japan has resigned, with the parliament preparing to vote on the candidate for the new Prime Minister.

Note that in 2018, the future prime minister took part in the opening of a store selling anime figurines and received a Majin Buu costume from the Dragon Ball Z series as a gift. His appearance was in the form of this famous villain character.
