“Today the President will give his inaugural speech. It is a momentous occasion for the country”, Kazakhstan’s PM Massimov tweeted today two hours before the inauguration. “I am going to President Nazarbayev’s inauguration at the Palace of Independence. This event will attract worldwide attention”, he added. Meanwhile, residents and visitors of the country’s capital, Astana, gathered at the central square. The swearing-in ceremony of reelected Nursultan Nazarbayev will be held today. The ceremony will be live-broadcast.
