Tengrinews.kz - A portrait of US President-elect Donald Trump, taken before his inauguration on January 20, has caused a storm of discussion on the X platform.

Social media users compared him to the character from the TV series "The Squid Game" - Player #456 and to Hank Schrader - a fictional character from the TV series "Breaking Bad."

A user wrote: "Politics aside, but President Donald Trump is looking like player 456 from squid games."

Trump was also compared to Hank earlier when he won the election in November 2024. At that time, a user wrote that "Bald Donald Trump looks like he could play Hank in Breaking Bad."

Trump's portrait also sparked controversy on social media due to its similarity to a photo of him taken in August 2023 at the Fulton County Jail in Atlanta, Georgia, after he surrendered in an election fraud case.

Donald Trump will be inaugurated as the 47th President of the United States on January 20. The event will take place on the West Side of the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C., marking the beginning of his second and final non-consecutive term.

The inauguration will include the swearing-in ceremony, inaugural address, signing ceremony, inaugural dinner, viewing on the plaza, processions, and a parade.
