Adopted Kazakh girl passes away in the U.S.

This news was shared by Janar Baysemizova, the host of the television program "Sheteledgi Kazakh Balalary"(Kazakh children abroad). According to Baysemizova, she learned of the tragic event from another adopted Kazakh girl who had been in contact with Dinara.
Dinara had recently appeared on Baysemizova's show, where she spoke about her challenging life experiences.
She entered a children's home in Kostanay at an early age and was adopted by an American couple when she was six. However, her adoptive parents divorced a few years later, leading to them starting new families of their own.
"Dinara’s adoptive parents divorced, and they have had their own families for a long time. As far as I know, Dinara was living alone. When we met, she was studying to become a psychologist and was about to graduate from university. Everything seemed fine with her; I don’t know why this happened," Baysemizova shared.
In the program, Dinara recounted traumatic memories from the orphanage, where she experienced numerous distressing situations that deeply affected her. Her biological mother left her at the orphanage when she was only 1 or 2 years old.
"Some moments I can't recall without tears. We were treated like a herd of sheep; we weren't seen as human beings... There was no love, compassion, or care for us. I was the tallest in the group, and the caregivers would call me 'cow' because of that. I remember always being hungry; I lacked food. In the orphanage, I was constantly fighting to survive. Those who disobeyed were taken to the shower and beaten with sticks. I even witnessed a boy being burned with an iron. I saw it with my own eyes. I was also beaten in the shower; we were put under hot water if we misbehaved. Once, for some offense, they shoved soap in my mouth and left me in the dark shower. I still can't forget that terrifying moment," the young woman shared during the show.
Baysemizova reported that, just a couple of months ago, they managed to locate Dinara's biological mother, who was planning to visit Kazakhstan to meet her.
"We found her biological mother, and recently, about two months ago, they spoke via video call, with us translating. The mother spoke to her and wanted to travel to America, but she didn’t have the means. Dinara was planning to come to Kazakhstan herself. Dinara’s biological mother is still unaware of what has happened," lamented the program’s host.
This marks the second case of an adopted child taking their life; a few years ago, a girl named Dayana, also from Kazakhstan, committed suicide in the U.S.
Previously, the Ministry of Education reported that from 1999 to 2011, foreign citizens adopted 8,805 Kazakh children. The majority of adoptions involved citizens from European countries, including Spain, the UK, Germany, Italy, Austria, as well as from the U.S., Canada, and other nations.
