Kazakhstan's NSC intercepts 159 illegal fuel transport cases at state border

Tengrinews.kz - The Border Service of the National Security Committee (NSC) in the Zhambyl region has intercepted 159 cases of illegal transportation of fuel and lubricants at the state border in October this year, according to the NSC press service.

Tengrinews.kz - The Border Service of the National Security Committee (NSC) in the Zhambyl region has intercepted 159 cases of illegal transportation of fuel and lubricants at the state border in October this year, according to the NSC press service.

According to the agency, petroleum products were transported by road using additional fuel tanks, converted gas cylinders, and various containers.

"Since the beginning of this year, 1,205 cases of fuel transport have been prevented in this area. Materials regarding these cases have been forwarded to the competent authorities for appropriate action," NSC reported.

Recall that on October 11, Kazakhstan extended the ban on the export of petroleum products by road outside the country for 6 months.
