Young employees at Mexx, the Dutch clothing brand store, in Almaty have secretly filmed a number of women, while they were changing in the store's dressing room, Tengrinews reports citing 31 TV Channel.

One of the shop's visitors Assem accidentally noticed the camera in a vent, when she was in the dressing room. "I just looked up and saw a phone in a vent hole. I was shocked, because I realized that I was videotaped. We did not find any videos on their (employees) phone. They said they had deleted them," Assem told the TV channel.

It turned out later that the store's employees were filming women through a vent in a warehouse located above the dressing room.

"The staff of our stores are young people as you know and for many of them, this is their first work experience. We have given them a severe reprimand and have fired them without providing any recommendations for further employment," Director of Mexx Kazakhstan Marina Zaichenko said.

According to Kazakh lawyers, a person may be sentenced to a prison term for committing such offence or to a big fine amounting to almost 4 million tenge ($16.8 thousand).
