Kyrgyzstan parliament deputy Muradil Mademinov has offered Gazprom to buy KyrgyzGas for $1, Tengrinews.kz reports. “Let them buy KyrgyzGas, even for just $1, but only if they solve all the problems, renew the gas pipelines and ensure uninterrupted gas supplies to people,” Mademinov said. Kyrgyzstan Prime-Minister Zhantoro Satybaldiyev also announced that the country’s government was willing to sell KyrgyzGas for $1 to avoid gas supplies problems in the country. Head of KyrgyzGas is discussing sale of 75 percent of the company and gas supplies with top management of GazProm in Moscow on December 19 and 20. Earlier Tengrinews.kz English reported that around 100 thousand residents of Bishkek and the villages of Chu oblast were left without gas on December 13. The increased load on power networks caused blackout in several regions of Bishkek. After some talks between the two Prime-Ministers, Kazakhstan increased gas supplies to Kyrgyzstan on December 19. According to the latest information, gas was supplied to 4 thousand houses.
