Author of Kazakhstan coat of arms Zhandarbek Malibekov is indignant by the use of Kazakhstan state symbols in the logo of MASOSH company in Ecuador, Tengrinews.kz reports. Zhandarbek Malibekov said that the use of the elements of coat of arms is an issue of “state significance”. “They (MASOSH company) stole Kazakhstan’s symbols. This case should be passed to the prosecution office and court.” The author is especially indignant with the fact that the foreign company, having used almost all the elements of the state symbols, replaced shanyrak with M letter and “Kazakhstan” sign with MASOSH word. Zhandarbek Malibekov is planning to raise this issue in Kazakhstan Commission of State Symbols. He is also a member of this Commission. “We have to give a battle for our coat of arms,” Zhandarbek Malibekov addressed Kazakhstan citizens. The logo for MASOSH company, that is supposedly producing leather goods, was developed by Ecuador designer Guillermo Valverde. He has already deleted the disputable logo from his profile on the Internet. Meanwhile, his work keeps decorating the first page of the official website of MASOSH. By Dmitriy Khegai
