Kazakhstan figure skater Denis Ten is capable of joining the Top-Ten skaters in 2012 World Figure Skating Championship that will be held in Nice, France. Frank Carroll, Denis ten’s coach is sure about this, Tengrinews.kz reports, citing Olga Kosheyeva, the figure skater’s press secretary. However the coach added that competition in this tournament will be very intense. Ten was only one step behind the bronze medal in the World Junior Figure Skating Championship that was held in Minsk. Kazakhstan skater was third after the short program, however he failed to retain this result and won only a nominal bronze medal. “This is the first World Championship bronze medal in the history of Kazakhstan. The Nominal medal is still a medal,” Carroll added. Frank Carroll coached such famous figure skaters as Michelle Kwan and Evan Lysacek. The World Figure Skating Championship will be held in Nice on March 25 – April 1.
