Kazakhstan national team is ranked 8th by medal count after the 5th day of London Olympics-2012, Tengrinews.kz reports. The team still has 3 gold medals. Weight-lifter Anna Nurmukhambetova was close to the model but was ranked only 5th. The sportswoman is only 19. She was only 5kg behind her competitors in the total of her two exercises. Besides, Nurmukhambetova suffered a very strict and demoralizing attitude of the referees: her best attempt score was not recorded even though all three white light turned on (that is supposed to indicate the lift as successful). China still leads the medal count (17 gold, 9 silver and 4 bronze medals). The second line is retained by the United States (12, 8, 9). South Korea is in the third place (6, 2, 4). It is followed by France (5, 3, 5), North Korea (4, 0, 1), Germany (3, 8, 2) and Italy (3, 4, 2). Russia is ranked 9th (2, 4, 5).
