Kazakhstani shooter Olga Dovgun has won the gold in 50 meter rifle shooting at Asian Games in Incheon, Tengrinews reports citing Vesti.kz.
Kazakh shooter Dovgun scored a total of 456.4 points. South Korean shooter Mira Jeong became second with 455.5 points and Jing Chang from China took the bronze with 446.2 points.
Earlier, Dovgun along with her teammates Yelizaveta Lunina and Alexandra Malinovskaya won the bronze medal in the team shooting.
The men’s tennis team with Mikhail Kukushkin, Alexandra Nedovesova and Andrey Golubev, a swimmer Dmitry Balandin, the women’s shooting team, a judoka Yeldos Smetov and a weightlifter Margarita Yelisseyeva brought gold medals. Kazakh swimmer Dmitriy Balandin won three gold medals and set two records in the process.
So far, Kazakhstani team retains its 4th place in the ranking with 8 gold, 9 silver and 17 bronze medals. The team has 34 medals in total.
