Motor racing: Astana team’s driver Daniel Juncadella leads Formula-3 race

Kazakhstan Astana team driver Daniel Juncadella is the leader of the general ranking of the European Formula-3 motor race, Tengrinews.kz reports, citing Vesti.kz. The Astana driver clashed with Pascal Vehrlein at one of the turns of French Grand Prix de Pau. “After this accident I made up my mind to drive steadily to the finish and not to give my rivals any more opportunities to gain more points in the general ranking. The results of the race show that this tactics pays off,” Juncadella said. The athlete has gained 62 points so far. Juncadella took the lead of Formula 3 general classification by winning the third stage that was held at German Hockenheimring Grand Prix. The next stage will be held at Brands Hatch (the motor racing circuit near Swanley in Kent, England).
